Start-Up to Scale-Up: Customer Migration, Hard-Coded Challenges, and Other Hurdles

During the scale-up phase of LiSTNR, we focused on synthesising customer feedback and aligning insights with business objectives to evolve the mobile app. A key challenge was migrating a large user base while ensuring a seamless transition, which we addressed by prioritising feature parity and optimising onboarding to minimize friction for loyal users. The Cashrewards design system played a crucial role, providing a scalable framework that ensured visual and functional consistency across mobile and web platforms. This enabled us to rapidly roll out updates and new features, facilitating a smooth user transition while positioning the app for continued growth and engagement.

Building a Cross-Device Ecosystem

The product was designed to be fully responsive across all screen sizes, ensuring a seamless user experience on any device. We implemented both light and dark modes to cater to different user preferences and environments. Beyond the core mobile and web platforms, we expanded the product's reach by developing optimized experiences for TV, in-car systems, and smartwatches. This initiative created a truly cross-device ecosystem, allowing users to engage with the product effortlessly across multiple touchpoints, enhancing accessibility and convenience.
