Unifying 100+ Station Websites into a Scalable Platform

Company: SCA
Project: Hit and Triple M Web Experience
Role: Product Design Lead, Design Systems, User Testing & Research

This project consolidated hundreds of individual station websites into a single, scalable platform for both the Hit and Triple M brands. To maintain a localized experience, we leveraged geolocation, dynamically adjusting content and components based on the user’s assigned station.

Modular, Systems based appraoch

By shifting from single-page designs to a modular design system, we significantly accelerated design and development, enabling faster delivery and ongoing adaptability. This transformation streamlined workflows, improved efficiency, and ensured a consistent yet flexible user experience.

Uniting 100 Stations – Aligning Brands and Customer Needs

With over 100 stations across the Hit and Triple M brands, we needed a unified platform that balanced brand identity with diverse audience needs. Through extensive user testing, we identified common behaviours, content expectations, and functional requirements, consolidating them into a scalable design framework. This approach ensured that both brands maintained their unique appeal while delivering a seamless, intuitive experience for all users. By centralising insights and refining user flows, we created a system that served local listeners while optimising efficiency across the entire network.

One Platform, One System, Six Months

In just six months, we successfully consolidated 100+ stations into a single, scalable platform and design system, streamlining operations while preserving brand identity and enhancing the user experience.
